Being Happy..All the Time?

I think I have been a little irritable lately. My fuse seems to be getting shorter and shorter and I cannot help but wonder if this is just a direct result of being pregnant. Maybe I am just in a bad mood. Anyway, I have found myself wondering how some people seem to be genuinely happy....all the time. There is always a smile on their faces and a kind word ready to be uttered from their lips. They look great! Is this all an act? Are these people masters of deception? Is it possible to be happy all the time? If it is, I'd love to know their secret. As always I would love to read what you have to say.

You're pregnant!! Congratulations!!! What wonderful news. I don't think there is such a thing as a person who is happy all the time -however, I admire their attitude and wish I could have that same cheerful outlook all the time. I, however, reserve my right to have days where I want to be left alone - I usually come around on my own as I realize all the things I am blessed with - but I do need my time once in a while.

Wow.. one starting kindy and you are pregnant. No wonder your fuse is short! It is just a bit of stress, both conscience and subconscience- your baby is not a baby anymore. Also, maybe you are expecting him to do more on his own, since he is older. I still am facing those issues with my lil ones. I expect them to do more on their own, so I lose my paitence easier, especially with my oldest. (isn't that terrible)
So deep breaths and "this too shall pass" hopefully it will very quickly! and Congrats!

I think you don't have to be happy all the time- to give someone else a smile and a kind word :) I try my best to always do that.- and God knows I am not happy all the time. But you sing because your happy and your happy because you sing! Sometimes if you smile it makes you feel better ;)
