Hunger Games

Is it OK for me to be totally addicted to this series? I have managed to read all three books in less than a week. Enjoy your day everyone!

A Penny Saved

Like most people I make the resolution to save more and spend less every new year. I do great until January 3rd when I fall into the evil trap of online clearance sales (especially at Kate Spade). I am happy to report that I have managed to keep my resolution so far and feel so good about it that I am inspired to continue doing so. All it takes is a little motivation and a ton of willpower! What are some of your New Year's goals? I would love to hear from you!

Happy New Year 2012!

Stop Complaining! Goodbye 2011!

I am so tired of negativity. It seems that via all outlets of social media I subscribe to there are always those that use their voices to simply complain. I propose a challenge to those negative souls out there....STOP!!! Embrace the New Year with a spirit that is light because it carries no negativity with it. Stop the complaining and start doing something to make things better.

Bring it on 2012

Source: flickr.com via Lydia on Pinterest

Every year I make a list of resolutions that I do not follow. After having a year filled with surprises some wonderful and some not so great I have decided that the best way to approach the coming of 2012 is with a positive attitude. By being positive I mean being grateful for what I have and forgetting about what I could have. I want to make better use of my time, be wiser about my spending and embrace the things that really matter in life. It is inspiring to learn about people who are making a difference and in some small way I believe that I can make a difference as well. I am ready to take to take charge and stop playing the victim. I am ready to make decisions instead of doing what others think or want me to do. Bring it on 2012...I am ready!
